The Double D 3-H Side Tack comes standard with an 8' dressing room and is priced for the weekend trail rider. The large dressing room has all the comfort needed for the overnight camping trip and accomodates two people with ease. The dressing room is equipped with three bus windows, sub-floor, a camper door and roll-up venturi roof vent. An access door to the horse area is a standard feature. This trailer comes with the Double D exclusive 3-tier side tack compartment which is fully enclosed and accessible from the outside. The tack room can be put in four different locations depending on your individual needs. The lighted tack room is finished with three slide out saddle racks and plenty of bridle hooks. Inside the dressing room, the tack room is rounded for safety and space saving purposes. The top space over the tack is ideal for storage. In the horse area, stall mats are standard and 12' of space is plenty of room to slant three horses. 18' version has 12' horse area and 6' dressing room, 20' version has 12' horse area and 8' room, 22' version has 14' horse and 8' room, 24' version has 16' horse area and 8' room.

This model can easily be converted to a four or five horse trailer by reducing the dressing area length and placing the tack room behind the dressing room wall at no extra cost. Popular options include dressing room conversions, awnings, air conditioners, and extra width.

All Double D Trailers are now built with the new **NO Rust Galvaneal metal and painted with an electrostatic paint system. All metal is stored indoors so there is no rust on the trailers when they roll out of the factory...everything is washed with a steamer and iron phosphate to open up the pores of the metal to allow the primer to stick better, and to remove oil residue. Once that dries, all the seams are sealed with 3M sealant inside and out. Then we prime with two coats of Valspar, automotive primer and paint with three coats of Valspar automotive paint. End result is a very durable, smooth, shining, long lasting finish.
