Horse AreaHorse area in this trailer is quite roomy. It has a slant aluminum bars with a very nice working slam latch operational with one hand, at the horses head there are drop down windows with aluminum bars, bars and window fold independent from one another. At the butt side of the horse there are sliding windows with screens and bars over those. There is a pop up roof vent for each horse and in this trailer, One unique feature of all Double D Trailers is the very functional and exclusive rear **Tack-Around design. This works great particularly on aluminum trailers as it is very light weight and one hand operation. The advantage of the tack around is that the entire rear of the trailer is available for loading and unloading. It's very safe, and easy, to get the horse in and get the horse back out. No more cramped small doors to load thru or danger to yourself when trying to squeeze in behind conventional rear tack walls. The rear tack has very nice saddle racks and has plenty of room for all your gear. The saddle racks are adjustable height and you can easily add more racks or blanket bars if you wisth. For the side walls of the trailer, we feature our "SafeKick" wall system. From technologies developed by NASCAR, we use the same technology in our horse trailer side walls. Basically the side walls will flex when the horse kicks, reducing the risk of injury to your horse. We feature this same technology in our roofing system as well. Many trailers are not insulated but this model the horse area is fully insulated top to bottom including the ceiling.
Stuctural and EXTERIOR Features: This trailer is built with 
Z-Frame technology offers superior strength over conventional aluminum framed trailers, yet doesn't rust like a steel frame trailer. White exterior galvalite with black swirl graphic design. One unique feature of Double D Trailers is the "SafeBump" roofing system. Sturdy enough to walk/Jump on, it provides great safety for your horse in case your horse rears up while traveling. The impact to the horses head is disbursed thru the high density styrofoam insulation and reduces the risk of injury. We use white sheets on the top of the trailer because white reflects more heat than any other color. This is wonderful protection for your horse, providing more peace of mind for you and comfort for your horse. This roof also doesn't dent in the horse area from hail storms like many roofs will. Side walls on Double D Trailers are fastened with the latest 3M bonding technology. This technology eliminates the need for conventional screws or rivots many manufacturers use. Sheet metal expands and screws and rivots hinder the expansion process, with time wallowing out a hole around the screw. This causes sheet metal warpage on the side with time. With or 3M bonding technology, this allows the metal to move freely yet eliminates the screws and rivets, resulting in a much stronger frame trailer with less maintenance in the future.
