Please describe how and why you came to Double D Trailers.

In searching for a new trailer, I knew I wanted one that would hold it's resale value and one that would be safe. My father was a welder, and the trailers our farm had won were cheaply made. Only tack weld aluminum frame would not last long.

What were your specific trailer needs and search criteria?

I wanted small, based on where I would be parking and my tow vehicle. The first thing Brad did was request my vehicle specs. We built from there.

Why do you feel Double D Trailers was the best deal on the market for you?

My mother had also search internet, and we decided on this on based on construction. My haflinger loves it, we camp in it, but I also day ride a lot at Mohican State forest. I am thankful that my small rig gets in and out, plus the economy of not pulling a large rig for day rides.

What other trailers did you evaluate during your shopping process prior to purchasing from Double D Trailers?

I researched most new and used "light weight trailers". During Covid, people wanted a fortune for their trailers that were falling apart. I work hard, and this is the first trailer I had to purchase, but after winning many, I knew I wanted something to last.

Why did you purchase from Double D Trailers versus the other companies or brands you researched?

Safety, construction, and especially the safe tack. I was able to add the water tank, rumber flooring , screen door to dressing room , electric jack and awning All withing my budget. I also like that the walk through door is a standard feature.

Would you recommend Double D Trailers to others?

I have shown and praised Brad everywhere I go

Additional Comments

I would love the divider bar in horse area to be able to be shortened in length for when I am camping. I do use the horse area for camp shower ,toilet and big dog stays int here while out on trail.

The wait was lengthy , but not double d fault. covid made it hard for Brad to get things. I waited for the awning to be delivered to Brad for installation. Delivery was awesome.

Brad out at events in your area. I was able to meet him at Ohio equine affaire last April. He is always thinking about safety for human and animal.
