Z-Frame Technology replaces all aluminum frames for added Safety and Durability

What is
Z-Frame?

What is Z-Frame?

  • Zinc is a natural occurring element in the environment, as is aluminum.

  • Zinc is used in everyday applications of life. For example, most highway sign posts, bridge rails, metal building structures, and other outdoor products use zinc where strength is necessary and to avoid corrosion.
  • Zinc's non-rusting ability compares to aluminum, but strength capabilities are comparable to Steel.

  • Z-Frame® is a similar concept as a stop sign post, but the technology is more advanced. Z-Frame is processed utilizing 99.99% pure zinc alloy with significantly less harmful lead content than generally encountered with pregalvanized or hot-dipped products.
  • Compared to Regular steel, Z-Frame® Tensile strength ratings are higher. This allows your new Double D Trailer to be built with lighter weight materials, yet resulting in comparable strength you would have in a conventional steel frame trailer.
  • All Aluminum Frame

    All Aluminum Frame

We use only the finest finished metals with T-6 aircraft quality with exclusive proprietary extrusions for superior strength and durability in our aluminum frame trailers

Our Aluminum framed trailers trailers are constructed using the same materials as our Galvalite trailer.  The only exception would be as follows:

    1) Flooring on aluminum is interlocking aluminum versus 2x8" pressure treated pine.
    2) Cross members and uprights are aluminum instead of super strong Z-Frame.
    3) Exterior sheets are aluminum instead of Galvalite.
    4) Pricing is typically slighter higher on Aluminum simply from the difference in cost of the aluminum flooring versus 2"x8" pine..  Normally, there is little difference between the Z-Frame and aluminum uprights but fluctuations will vary depending on market conditions.
